Nugget is a rescue with a heart of gold! Energetic, intelligent, and social, Nugget loves playing with other dogs at the local dog daycare and has an A+ report card with every visit. Even though he came to his foster home with no training at all, he already knows how to sit, and he is getting much better on the leash. Nugget loves to play fetch with his Birmingham Barons baseball and stuffed toys. He shows no aggression towards cats or smaller dogs, only some enthusiasm that needs to be tamed a little. Nugget needs a home where he can get lots of attention and exercise--he might even like to have a doggie sibling, as long as they are big enough to love wrestling in the yard! Nugget has all his vaccinations, has been neutered, and tested negative for heartworms. Nugget would love to be your faithful friend and playmate! He is about a year old. (posted 3/18)
